Like all tools of the OBID i-scan-family the shortrange-reader ID ISC.PR101-A/-USB is working with Smart Labels, which base on transponders with an operating frequency of 13,56 MHz.
The reader possesses an internal antenna and achieves a maximum writing-/reading range of up to 18 cm.

Due to the compact measures the reader is suitbale for desk-applications, where files and documents are identified or rental goods are scanned for in- and output.

The antikollisions-function of the reader enables the parallel identification of several objects even through a covering box.
